Winter Weather Protocol

We want to share our Winter Weather Closing Protocol with you, so you won't have any questions if/when we get bad weather. 

The most important thing to know, is that Zen Dogs will close if the Waunakee School District closes because of snow & ice*. However, we will NOT CLOSE if the Waunakee School District closes only due to cold weather. We have beautiful, indoor heated play gyms for the pups to come and play in, so since they wouldn't be able to go for walks or play at parks otherwise--they can come and play here with us! 

 How will you know if we are closed? 

1) Find out if the Waunakee School District has closed. If they have closed because of snow/ice, Zen Dogs will be closed, also. We will be OPEN if they close just because of cold weather. 

2) We will send out an email, as well as post on Facebook & Instagram. 

 *If the Waunakee schools are not in session because of winter break, staff development days, etc. then Zen Dogs will evaluate the weather forecast and decide to close or remain open. How will you find out this important information? We will send out an email specific to the day being closed. (We will also post on Facebook & Instagram.)
